According to the biographical plaque, "A short time prior to his death and after nearly 34 years of paralysis, the Hall of Famer could not sign his name to any items. However, shortly after coming home from being hospitalized for 6 months, Roy started the time consuming task of signing a limited number of the flat skins of baseballs. It was impossible for Campanella to sign a baseball due to the curvature shape. The majority of these limited autographed skins were then made into Major League baseballs."
Not so with this blue-ink "9-10" signature example, which remains in its original, unstitched format within a 29x35 shadowbox featuring 4 dynamic Campy photos and 2 plaques. PSA/DNA sticker, no cert.
