As the club that snapped the Yankees’ run of five straight pennants in 1954, the Cleveland Indians were appropriately celebrated in the 1950s by the local craftsmen at Gibbs-Conner & Co. This porcelain ashtray features “Chief Wahoo” holding a bat alongside a hollowed tray with (3) divots for cigarettes. The colorful mascot has an unblemished surface and smile that conveys the sentiment “smoke ‘em if you got ‘em!”
