Displayed during the short-lived 1979 Budweiser Big Apple advertising campaign, these (6) point of sale signs portray “Bronx Bomber” franchise greats. Each thick cardboard stock piece measures 11x14 with an intact easel on the reverse. With red or blue accents and the Budweiser logo decal adhered to the upper left corner (on two), the items feature the club’s famed “NY” logo and upper-case text reading “PART OF A PROUD CITY’S TRADITION.” Included are: (2) catchers with Munson, Dickey, Howard and Berra; (2) pitchers with Guidry and John; and (2) 1940’s greats with DiMaggio, Rizzuto and Reynolds.

The pieces present beautifully and appeared to have never been displayed in a retail capacity, though there is minor paper loss on one of the 1940’s greats pieces.
