Crafted by Gibbs-Conner & Co. during the 1950s, this Chicago White Sox porcelain bank accurately depicts the American League franchise, as its winged foot portrayal reflects the fact that the Pale Hose paced the American League in stolen bases for 11 straight seasons from 1951 through 1961. Standing 9”-tall, the unique design features a pointed foot on a round green base. In raised script-style characters, “Chicago” appears on the side of the foot, and red accents accompany. Atop the piece, a slot facilitates coin insertion. The well-preserved “Windy City” relic features vibrant hues and a flawless surface.
